What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Analyst position at Classic Collision Inc?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded finance analyst to join our finance team. The finance analyst's responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, calculate monthly commissions and assist with month-end closing and preparing and submitting journal entries. As finance analyst, you will be responsible for providing the operations team with financial and accounting support and providing support to the regional finance team with month-end reporting. This position reports into the Sr. Regional Finance Manager.
To be successful as a finance analyst, you should be able to become an effective business partner to the operations team, become an expert in financial systems and perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. You should also have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. Travel of 1-4 times per year may be necessary to develop relationships and understand the operations of all of the inter-workings of an auto body shop.
Finance Analyst :
- Become an effective finance partner to the finance team and the operations team with a high-level customer service attitude.
- Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes and ensure accurate financial statements for shops within market.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports and understanding variances.
- Effectively communicate financial results.
- Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
- Understanding key business drivers.
- Assist with Commission and Bonus calculations.
- Develop in depth knowledge of financial systems
- Performing research and analysis as required.
