Job Summary :
Classic Ford - Shelby is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at our dealership in Shelby, North Carolina. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and SUVs. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry that requires skilled labor and contracting skills.

Responsibilities :
Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions and issues on a variety of makes and models
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions
Complete work orders and record all repairs and maintenance performed
Communicate with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations
Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
Keep work area clean and organized
Attend training and certification programs as needed to stay updated on latest automotive technology and techniques
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
ASE certification preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of automotive systems and technical expertise
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and procedures
Must have own tools and a valid driver's license
