Position Summary:We’re seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team. This person will be the face of Classic Gears to new clients—responsible for understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and building long-term relationships that drive growth. The ideal candidate brings technical savvy, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping customers solve challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products/services.
- Collaborate with internal team to quote custom projects.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
- Attend industry trade shows and customer site visits.
- Track sales activities and report progress to management.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in B2B technical or industrial sales (manufacturing, machining, or mechanical components a plus).
- Knowledge of CNC machining, gear manufacturing, or custom component production strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and trade events (up to 20%).
