Job Summary
Classic Granite & Marble has provided our customers with exceptional services and countertops for their homes and businesses since 2000. We're seeking a skilled installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail and be a team player. You'll be responsible for executing installation projects with precision and professionalism. This role requires a strong background in construction and the ability to work effectively in various environments, including residential and commercial sites. You will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform installs of various countertops and components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment effectively for tasks such as fabrication and installation.
- Conduct template assessments to determine the accuracy of installation projects.
- Collaborate with team members, office, and clients to communicate effectively on the timeline regarding projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the installation process and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
Skills
- Proficiency in installation techniques and practices.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
- Knowledge of materials- quartz, quartzite, marble, and granite.
- AutoCAD experience for templates (preferred)
- Ability to read drawings/measurements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience fabricating components as needed for specific projects.
