We are currently seeking PRN Occupational Therapists (OT), Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), and Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to join our team in Brevard County, covering Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, and Merritt Island.
Position Summary
As a PRN OT, PT, OTA, or PTA, you will provide rehabilitative services to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve mobility and function. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and independence (OT/PT).
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist (OTA/PTA).
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive equipment use, and injury prevention.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal home health regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Florida license as an OT, PT, OTA, or PTA.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health or a related field preferred.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Brevard County.
- CPR certification required.
