What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hyundai Express / Service Technician position at Classic Hyundai - Wilkesboro?
$15 per hour and up! Lube Mechanic / Quick Lube or Prep Technician
To support our continued growth, Mills Automotive Group is looking to add several Quick Lane / Express Service Technicians to our growing team located at Classic Toyota / Hyundai of N Wilkesboro. This position has starting guaranteed wages at $15.00 per hour, plus immediate opportunities to receive incentives to $20.00 per hour.
Ideal candidates will possess basic hand tools to service vehicles, have quick service experience or independent repair shop experience.
What You Do:
- Conduct basic maintenance and filter services on Toyota / Hyundai vehicles
- Oil and filter services
- Tire rotations, balancing, tire replacements and tire repairs
- Battery testing and replacement
- Inspect vehicles for needs and service needs using multi-point inspections and test tools
- Document and report on items completed and in need of further service via repair order and dealer computer system
- Complete and attend manufacturer training as required
Successful attributes and skills:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player
- Trainable. This is an entry level position. We will train the right candidates regardless of experience level
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Professional appearance, well maintained personal appearance
- Technical certification and training a plus
- State inspection license desired
Compensation and benefits:
- Base pay is a guaranteed 40 hours and starts at $15.00 per hour. Immediate incentives pay at $20.00 per hour from day one!
