Job Summary
This is a Management position providing overall assistance and support to the Manufacturing department. Responsible for performing important management functions at a level directly under the Director of Operations. Work is performed with a high degree of independence that is subject to the review of the Director of Operations.
Responsibility & Authority
Technimark establishes the interrelation of all personnel who manage, perform, and verify work affecting quality via Technimark’s Organization Chart and specific procedures while ensuring the independence and authority necessary to perform these tasks. Technimark’s Organization Chart is reviewed annually for adequacy. Independence and authority are established in the Control of Nonconforming product procedure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Create a team environment and ensure customer satisfaction meets desired levels through quality system compliance, resource planning, and coordination.
2. Compliance to budget and management system requirements.
3. Must be familiar with the manufacturing operation and understand the job duties and functions of each associate and to assure all duties are being carried out in a safe and productive manner.
4. Responsible for keeping the General Manager informed of production schedules, work force needs, production needs and demands, and employee relations status.
5. Capable of developing supervisory and management skill in subordinates.
6. Works with the appropriate departments to process customer complaints, product rejections, or rework parts in a manner adequate to maintain operations, and related equipment.
7. Implement company goals with respect to managing resources (people, equipment, materials, etc.) in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
8. Other duties as required.
9. Schedule 2,2,3; 12-hour shifts
