Job Overview

As an Account Manager, you will represent Classic Packaging Company and act as critical liaison between the customer, sales, and operations teams.  As CSM you will receive and process new and repeat customer orders, inquiries, and/or customer issues related to orders.  You will also be responsible for maintaining effective, ongoing relationships with multiple customers and sales staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of products, logistics, and production planning.

 Duties

Includes, but not limited to the following:

• Act as primary liaison between customers, sales, and production teams
• Receive customer purchase requests and prepare orders for system entry.
• Confirm pricing and accuracy and send acknowledgments to customers.
• Prepare customized reports/updates for customers as needed, alert customers to any issues.
• Quickly and effectively resolve customer issues/discrepancies and maintain clear communications with all parties involved.
• Communicate customer needs, issues, and timelines to sales and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that all paperwork and order information are complete and accurate.
• Advise supervisor of any needs or suggestions.
• Perform any other job duties as assigned by the Vice President.

• Ability to read and comprehend technical requirements and manufacturing data.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, proprietary computer system)
• Ability to work effectively within a team-based organization.
• Willingness and ability to learn about various aspects of packaging manufacturing.
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them across a range of applications.

Workdays: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Off Days: Saturdays and Sundays
