Classic Rock Fabrication is a leading manufacturer and installer of premium granite, quartz, and other solid surface countertops. Based in the fast-paced environment of our Harrisburg headquarters, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team and ensure the highest standards in every project we undertake.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The primary purpose of the Quality Inspector is to conduct comprehensive inspections of all products prior to packaging and shipment. This role necessitates effective communication with the Operations Manager to address and resolve any quality issues that arise. The Quality Inspector is entrusted with maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of quality as established by Classic Rock Fabrication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all safety protocols set forth by Classic Rock Fabrication.
- Perform random quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Inspect all finished materials in a timely manner to ensure quality standards are met prior to installation.
- Conduct piece counts, color/material verification, measurement verification, and job specific cuts.
- Report quality issues to the Operations Manager to find resolution.
- Ensure proper care and handling of product during inspections, loading, and packaging.
- Load finished jobs onto a-frames and secure according to standard procedure.
- Prepare packing slips and package finished jobs and when packaging is required.
- Mark orders as complete within the ERP system and edit jobs within the system as necessary.
- Pair finished jobs with additional required jobsite items.
- Maintain an efficient, clean, and organized work area.
- Utilize mobile equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move material.
- Receive and maintain forklift operator certification.
- Follow all Company policies and procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support Classic Rock’s Vision and Mission.
Work Schedule:
- Steady afternoon shift: Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm.
- Mandatory overtime on occasion and Saturday hours as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
