Job Overview: Building Maintenance Position
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, contributing to a safe, functional, aesthetically pleasing environment. The Building Maintenance person will perform a variety of tasks related to repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the buildings. Classic Automotive has been family owned and operated for over 30 years.

Responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform and/or schedule with the appropriate vendor for routine maintenance such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC system repairs.
Repairs:
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues as leaks, malfunctions, or damages.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Report any major issues or needed repairs to the appropriate supervisor.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other departments to address building maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding maintenance schedules and updates.
Emergency Response:
- Be available for emergency response if required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent: technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The position may require working in various weather conditions and occasionally lifting equipment or materials. Some tasks may involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
