Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Financial Business Analyst to partner with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results through utilization of best practices in Financial Planning and Analysis. The ideal candidate will have a “can do” attitude with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify business needs and solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes and requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
- Perform data analysis and create reports to support decision-making
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business initiatives
- Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet business needs
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Support an annual operating plan and budgeting process for the business unit.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Provide guidance and assistance to administrators and managers to achieve efficiency goals and solve problems
- Perform ad-hoc analytics and financial modeling
Qualifications:
- Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Economics, or related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Business Analyst or similar role
- Certification in Acumatica ERP Business Consultant or Developer certification is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions
- Proficiency in Acumatica ERP or similar ERP system, expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI and third-party integrations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
- High business acumen with strong financial background
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must speak and act with honesty and trustworthiness
- Must be able to thrive in a team environment, partnering with others to achieve shared goals.
