Clay Cooley Hyundai of Mesquite is currently seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and professional Service Drive Manager with a winning attitude to assist our growing Service Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing an efficient and profitable Service Drive through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, and maintenance of service records.
Job Duties:
- In conjunction with the Service Manager, implements marketing strategies and meets objectives to help monitor the service lanes and workload of the Service department.
- Manages the fluid movement of the Service Drive. The Service Drive Manager hires, trains, motivates, and monitors Service Advisors and supporting staff in writing and dispatching repair orders to qualified technicians.
- Ensures and supervises proper billing and collections. The Service Drive Manager reviews open repair order report daily for resolution.
- Reads and interprets compliance operating and maintenance instructions and rules. The Service Drive Manager understands and ensures obedience with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures accounting for all necessary documentation.
- Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA right-to-know act, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge in Service Advisor and management roles. Pay based on experience.
- Must be detail-oriented with a keen ability to read and understand written and verbal directions.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are needed to calculate invoices.
