EVS FLOOR TECH POSITION TITLE: Environmental Services Floor Tech
JOB SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all carpeted and hard surface floors in the facility. The Floor Tech will also be responsible for the removal of garbage in various areas.
QUALIFICATIONS AND DEMANDS OF THE POSITION:
1. Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions
2. Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks
3. Must be able to work alone, with minimal supervision, and make responsible decisions
4. This job will require continuous movement to include walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping. This position may be required to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
5. On the job training will be provided
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
1. Will perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, carpets, title, etc
2. Will utilize the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedures and manufacturer’s recommendations
3. Will strip and wax floors as needed
4. Will remove trash from different areas in the facility
5. Will perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
