Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The CFO plays a critical leadership role in the financial management of Clay County Medical Center, overseeing hospital accounting, financial management, patient financial services, health information management, and materials management.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO is responsible for the annual budget and annual audit. They serve on the Executive Committee and contribute significantly to strategic development and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and General Ledger management.
- Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate publication of financial statements.
- Supervise and develop personnel in finance, patient financial services, health information technology, and supply chain management.
- Provide leadership for the Hospital Revenue Cycle and associated elements, procedures, practices, policies, and documents.
- Coordinate the budget cycle and annual financial audit and cost report preparation.
