Position Status: Full-time; hybrid remote program eligible after a six month training period
Duties include:
- Researching new funding and business development opportunities on a local, state, and federal level
- Maintaining and building relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a local, state, and national level
- Drafting proposals/Letters of Intent (LOI), grant application narratives, budgets and collaborate to finalize with program staff, finance, and the Deputy Director
- Maintaining master calendar of grants and prospects and all associated files and correspondence
- Communicating with funders and ensuring that our grants and contracts meet all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Maintains grant compliance and reporting, including outcome measurement and grant budgets—taking responsibility for meeting high standards of effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness
- Researching rules and regulations to ensure contracts are updated and in compliance with laws
- Monitoring and maintaining funder and investor reporting schedules and requirements
- Following Request for Proposal (RFP) and Informal Bid procedures for procurement of materials which align with grant/contract deliverables. Drafting and modifying budget narratives as necessary
- Tracking progress toward organizational and programmatic outcomes and goals
- Draft progress reports and targeted program updates and assemble all necessary supporting materials and documents including budget reports, outcome measurements, programmatic success stories, etc.; submit reports to funders
- Negotiating contract terms where applicable
- Evaluating bids and research current regulation
- Works independently with minimum supervision
- Communicates regularly with the CCPHC management team and other stakeholders to ensure expedient and effective implementation of any initiative
- Maintains strict confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
Position Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree in public health or related field is preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills are required
- Two or more years related experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of Grants and Contract services
- Working knowledge of Grants policies and procedures
- Requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, project management skills, with an emphasis on outcome measurement.
- A current driver’s license and auto insurance are required
