*Job Title: Receptionist for Mobile Veterinary Practice*
*Location:* Main Headquarters Office
*Hours:* Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and efficient Receptionist to join our mobile veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing phone communications, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication across our team, including our veterinary, grooming, and fleet services. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive experience for pet owners and their furry companions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
- Schedule and manage appointments for veterinary visits, grooming services, and other related services.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of appointments, client information, and communication notes.
- Manage online communication through email and social media platforms, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Assist the veterinary and grooming teams with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing patient files and coordinating communication on the road.
- Organize and maintain the reception area and office supplies to ensure a welcoming and efficient workspace.
- Provide support to the fleet team as necessary, helping with scheduling and logistics to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist with general clerical duties and reporting as required by management.
*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant training or certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficient in using office software and equipment (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, phone systems).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and a passion for animal care is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to the dynamic environment of a mobile service.
