Job Summary |
Responsible for maintaining a combination of general accounting systems. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. Examines, analyzes and interprets accounting data for the purpose of supporting continuous improvement and preparing required financial statements. Balances accounts periodically and assists in the preparation of Income, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
The Senior Accountant ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while supporting cross-functional teams to achieve financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Duties/Responsibilities |
The following duties are essential but not exhaustive; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:
Financial Reporting & General Accounting
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare journal entries and ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, preparing monthly work papers.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal control processes.
- Interface with external auditors to support the company’s annual audit.
Operations Support
- Participate in the physical inventory process to meet audit requirements and enhance inventory control.
Regulatory Compliance & Process Improvement
- Gather and compile data for tax estimates, regulatory filings, and compliance reporting.
- Recommend and implement internal controls to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes and optimize reporting efficiencies.
Expense & Intercompany Accounting
- Audit and reconcile corporate credit card purchases and employee expense reports through Concur, identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Assist with consolidation activities in EPM Amelkis, managing and processing complex intercompany transactions.
- Ensure proper reconciliation at the Group Consolidation level and drive process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience |

Education & Professional Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in General Ledger management.
- Experience with LEAN principles is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
- Expertise in accounting software such as TMM, IQMS, and Sage X3, with experience in EPM Amelkis is considered an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and intermediate-level experience in Access.
- Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems preferred.
- Ability to support and contribute to the implementation of accounting software.
