Overview
Claystone construction is a heavy civil contractor seeking skilled and experienced scraper Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Cat 627 and 631 scraper operation and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various machinery, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Operate Cat 627 and 631 scrapers on various construction sites along the Colorado front range
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist in the movement of materials around the construction site as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Cat 627 and 631 scraper operation is required.
- Ability to operate Multiple types of heavy equipment a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as needed.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on the equipment operated.
- Ability to stand, climb, sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
