Reports to: Production Manager/Area Coordinator

Job Status: Full-Time /Hourly

Position Summary: We are looking for a result-driven leader to be responsible for assisting the Area Coordinator with the monitoring of Team Members in the achievement of the department’s objectives. An Area Coordinator in Training will be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership skills to inspire the team to perform at their optimum. You should create a cohesive team that works efficiently together to maximize safety and productivity.
Duties / Responsibilities:

Daily Duties
- Motivating the team to achieve production goals
- Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve production targets
- Delegating tasks to team members
- Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
- Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
- Assist in conducting performance reviews
- Contributing to the growth of the company through engagement initiatives
- Creating a pleasant working environment that inspires teamwork
- Assist in the daily maintenance of materials inventory
- Learning all responsibilities of an Area Coordinator

Physical Inventory
- Prepare facility for physical inventory
- Direct involvement in conducting physical inventory
- Review and reconcile physical inventory
- Counting work in process material
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with TRU - Preferred
- Level 3 skills within the department – Preferred
- Knowledge/Experience in leading a team - Preferred
- Demonstrates initiative, assertiveness, and ability to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and internal customers
- Excellent attendance
- Strong organizational skills to give the team direction
- Ideal Team Player qualities (Humble, Hungry, Smart)
- Knowledge of Oracle, ERP systems preferred
Physical Demands:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Other demands as outlined by EHS.
