POSITION SUMMARY
Clayton Discover Specialists are responsible for delivering prompt, accurate, courteous customer service via phone, email, text, or chat. They must be able to communicate closely with potential customers, Retail Home Centers, and Independent Partners to provide an excellent home buying experience. This position also requires the ability to be a team player and hit targeted goals.
POSITION DUTIES AND OBJECTIVES
- Assists Retail Home Centers and Independent Partners in marketing and communication with potential consumers.
- Provides highest quality leads to Home Centers and Independent Partners by discovering where a customer is in their home buying journey.
- Nurtures leads from various Marketing efforts to provide the best customer experience based on the customer’s individual needs and buying timeline.
- Responsible for scheduling customer visits to Retail Home Centers and Independent Partners
- Connect potential customers with a Home Consultant at the appropriate location
- Educate customers on Clayton Products
- Follow up on all leads and viewings
- Provide excellent communication skills with external and internal customers
- Ability to hit targeted goals
- Respond to Live Chats that are initiated through our website
- Respond to SMS texting and Digital platform messaging
- Executes error free data entry skills
- Exhibits great interpersonal skills, effective persuasive skills, and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Promotes teamwork and success for the department/company
- Promotes company image through professional service and actions
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Must be available to work shifts in the evening until 8:00pm and some Saturday shifts
- Computer competency with Microsoft Office and typing skills at minimum 25 wpm
- Great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and goal driven
- Willing to learn, hard-working, determined, and assertive
- Bilingual, Spanish-Speaking a plus
