PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Clean house thoroughly, help load materials and furniture, wrap homes for shipment
JOB DUTIES:
Clean walls, tile floors, cabinets, countertops, tubs/showers, etc.
Vacuum carpets
Help load furniture, appliances and setup materials
Putty molding to cover holes made by brads
Hang drapes, mini blinds, light shades and towel/tissue bars
Install exterior door and storm door latches/hardware
Tie off doors, strap refrigerator, close windows and secure all other items
For Double wides finish wrapping with plastic - close all openings
Install HUD labels
Enter in necessary information on computer when home is finished
Sign traveler when job has been completed
Maintain acceptable level of quality
Clean area daily
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXOERUEBCE REQUIRED:
Must be at least 18 years old and either a high school graduate or have 3 years construction experience.
SAFETY / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Use of cleaning solvents, lacquer thinner
Uncontrolled Climate
EQUIPMENT / MACHINES USED:
Electric Screw Gun Air Wrench
Brad Guns General Hand Tools
Vacuum Cleaners Personal Protective Equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous construction experience strongly preferred
- Experience in manufactured housing is greatly desired
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively
- Ability to read and understand home building specifications greatly desired
- Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to adapt quickly and make sound decisions in a changing, fast-paced work environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
