The Division of Student Affairs at Clayton State University is seeking a proactive Crisis Intervention Coordinator to join our team. As a Crisis Intervention Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing critical support to students in crisis, working closely with students to address issues related to mental health, well-being, and safety. You will also collaborate with campus partners to build a supportive, welcoming community for all students.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of the Crisis, Assessment, Response, and Education (CARE) Team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, researching students of concern, maintaining documentation, and evaluating operational efficiency.
* Create and support initiatives that foster an inclusive campus environment and address barriers to student success, particularly for those facing challenges related to their identity.
* Collaborate with campus partners to build a supportive, welcoming community for all students.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in social work and demonstrated ability to connect individuals with community resources to support their overall well-being.
