Position Summary
The Inside Sales Account Manager's main goal is to generate new business revenue for the organization through conducting market research, identifying opportunities, initiating contact with prospects, ascertaining customer needs, and developing innovative solutions to close new accounts.
This includes daily contact with our current customers and continuing to build business to business relationships through service, communication and product and industry knowledge.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Solicit current customers for freight
• Solicit new customers for freight
• Provide load coverage, service, available capacity with margins
• Provide new solutions to their customers via mode change or specialized services
• Provide service updates to their customers based on customers' requests
• Assist in pricing based solutions on customer knowledge
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
• Self-Initiated and motivated to deliver high-quality results
• Time management and prospecting skills
• Work in an office atmosphere with effective communication and interaction
• Work independently and assist in group projects

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
