Meal Prep

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe preparation of meals for our customers. This is an opportunity to work in the food industry and contribute to providing high-quality food service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and menu plans
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Assist with menu planning and preparation for catering events or special dietary needs
- Collaborate with the Dietary department team members to ensure timely meal service
- Adhere to portion control guidelines for all food items
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
