Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services throughout North America. As our Asset Management Strategist - Fleet Coordinator, you'll be part of a team that's dedicated to solving tough problems through innovation and proven methodology.
In this role, you'll oversee the lifecycle management of our Light Duty fleet, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing maintenance costs. You'll work closely with corporate and regional management to inform life cycle positioning decisions and strategic placement and logistics issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimize asset performance and minimize maintenance costs.
- Evaluating asset requests and recommending the best solution considering refurbishment, purchasing, leasing, or renting options.
- Managing asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Providing expert advice on asset management to key staff members.
You'll also be responsible for driving continuous improvement of asset performance, including failure analysis, PM monitoring, condition monitoring, and more.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or a related field.
- Experience working within the automotive industry, preferably with asset management or fleet management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and project management skills.
- The ability to analyze financial concepts and perform financial analysis.
