Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall lifecycle management of our Light Duty fleet, including asset acquisition, deployment, utilization, and disposal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management strategies.
- Analyze data to optimize asset utilization and minimize maintenance costs.
- Evaluate asset requests and recommend optimal solutions.
- Manage asset disposal, including agreements and bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Provide expert asset management advice to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Management or related field preferred, but not required.
- 1 year of experience working within the automotive industry preferred.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Asset Management, Fleet Management, Service Management knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of entire MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Solid project management skills, effectively managing multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, EOQ, and fill-rate modeling.
