Job Description - Member Service and Sales Representative
THIS POSITION REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

Key Roles and Accountability:
- Greet customers enthusiastically to achieve new membership goals, maintaining Clean View standards and accurately inputting passes into the POS system.
- Supervise, monitor, and assist wash attendants in fulfilling their duties during shifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing information.
- Demonstrate leadership through actions, effectively communicate and resolve issues, and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Ensure the smooth functionality of the car wash and troubleshoot any potential issues.
Duties:
- Actively sell wash memberships to contribute to meeting wash goals while maintaining a designated closing percentage.
- Always greet customers with a smile and positive demeanor.
- Supervise wash attendants' tasks, offering guidance, instructions, or coaching to meet performance expectations.
- Report any instances of poor performance or insubordination to the General Manager.
- Open/close the car wash as scheduled following the Jolt Process.
- Be present at the kiosk to greet customers upon arrival and ensure timely service.
- Follow the company's membership script when explaining membership options to customers.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all customers, regardless of their decision to purchase a membership.
- Assist with lot maintenance, tunnel cleaning, and general upkeep tasks.
- Answer phone calls as required.
- Educate customers on the benefits and value of membership, ensuring sales are conducted with integrity.
- Be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Maintain a positive and enjoyable environment for customers and colleagues alike.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Previous sales and customer service experience
- Prior experience in supervisory or team leadership roles is advantageous.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and willingness to perform tasks such as shoveling when necessary.
- Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions that others can follow.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
COMPENSATION:
- Base pay: $17/hour
- Earning potential: up to $22/hour (with commission)
- Commission starts after 30 days
