CleanArc Data Centers (www.cleanarcdatacenters.com) is seeking a proactive and driven Sales and Marketing Associate, based in/near Las Vegas, NV, to join our growing team in the fast-evolving data center industry.


This hands-on, junior-level role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across marketing, sales, and business development. You will support internal teams, manage relationships with external marketing agencies, and play a key role in building sales relationships with hyperscale tenants and partners.


Ideal for entry-level professionals with 1-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-growth company while learning the ins and outs of the data center industry. As the company expands, so will your career path, with potential growth into roles such as Marketing Manager, Relationship Manager, or Sales Operations Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with CleanArc’s outside marketing agency to execute campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand presence, drive demand, and support sales efforts. You'll play an integral role in developing content, digital marketing, and event promotion.
  • Sales Relationship Building: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to engage with hyperscale end-users and strategic partners, develop sales leads, and build lasting relationships. Represent the company at key industry events and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Research and Reporting: Utilize various databases, tools, and websites to conduct research into various geographic markets, hyperscale developments, and other data center operators to produce reports for management to understand competitive trends in the industry.
  • Business Development: Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Support the development of strategic partnerships and track leads and opportunities in our CRM for potential sales.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, operations, engineering) to ensure marketing and business development efforts are aligned with company goals. Assist in preparing presentations and sales materials.
  • Client and Agency Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with marketing agencies and external vendors, ensuring that the marketing plan aligns with the company’s objectives and is executed efficiently.


TRAVEL & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS


  • 30% domestic travel estimated.
  • We strongly prefer candidates based in/near Las Vegas. Please note that this is not a remote-based position.



QUALIFICATIONS


  • 1-4 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
  • Prior experience in a related field, such as marketing for an equipment manufacturer is a plus.
  • Experience or familiarity with the data center industry is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with basic marketing tools (email marketing, social media, content creation, etc.).
  • Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools, staying current with industry trends and innovations, and effectively applying them in day-to-day tasks and projects.
  • Comfortable with 1-to-1 or small group public speaking, presenting, and building relationships in person.
  • Proactive and highly self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive multiple projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, social and interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
