Hospital Distribution
Job description: Delivering patient linen throughout the hospital to assigned locations. Collecting soiled linen and returning it to the laundry area. Delivering supplies and patient care items. Maintaining organization and cleanliness in designated work areas. Work cooperatively with hospital staff to meet patient needs. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols including but not limited to company and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean working environment. Work collaboratively to meet company goals.
Reports to: Hospital Distribution Manager
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
• Organizational and planning skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to pass background and drug screening
• Must have or be willing to obtain COVID vaccination
Key Responsibilities:
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks withing the designated timeframe
• Maintain quality standards
• Track and monitor linen inventory
• Complete deliveries and pickups to designated locations following established schedule
• Fill all scrub machines with required inventory once per shift or as needed
• Maintain company-wide DART accident rate at or below 2
• Other duties as assigned
