Shcedule 1: Monday Wednesdays Fridays after 9pm
Schedule 2: Tuesday Thursdays Saturdays after 9pm
Schedule 3: Sundays/oncall fill in after 9pm
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the building.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform porter duties including moving furniture or equipment as required.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
