Job Description:
The Hardware Repair Lead plays a critical role in CleanSpark's Bitcoin Mining Operation, responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of our cryptocurrency mining equipment. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and effective communication abilities to ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of technicians in performing repairs, upgrades, and routine maintenance
- Lead product testing and validation of hardware components (i.e. hash boards, power suppliers, fans etc.)
- Manage inventory, including procurement and backlog
- Develop and maintain project timelines, metrics, and resource allocation
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
- Ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently according to guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to mining operations
- Monitor metrics/KPIs for team's location
- Assist team with ancillary tasks as needed to meet departmental objectives
Requirements:
~3 years technician experience in an industrial or commercial environment
~ Strong understanding of electronic components, technical drawings, and specifications
~ Knowledge of inventory tracking
~ Excellent hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills
~ Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and handle small and delicate components without causing damage
~ Familiarity with Antminer Series 17 & 19 equipment and Bitman repair certification are plus points
