Position Summary :
The Social Media Manager will oversee the social media strategies for multiple partners including athletes and brands ensuring each partner’s online presence is engaging, cohesive, and aligned with their brand goals. In this fast-paced agency environment, the Social Media Manager will handle strategy development, partner communication, campaign management and the content creation team, while continuously optimizing for better performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Partner Strategy Development :
- Work closely with partners to understand their business objectives, target audiences, and brand voice.
- Develop and execute custom social media strategies for each partner, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Regularly meet with partners to update them on performance, address any concerns, and adjust strategies based on feedback and analytics.
Social Media Campaign Management :
Plan, create, and launch social media campaigns across a variety of platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).Collaborate with other departments to ensure campaign assets are delivered on time and to spec.Manage paid social campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, and performance tracking.Content Creation & Curation :
Oversee the creation of engaging content, including graphics, videos, copy, and blog posts, that resonates with each partner’s audience.Curate relevant third-party content to engage followers and foster community.Ensure all content is in line with the partner’s brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.Community Management :
Monitor and engage with the social media community on behalf of the partner, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.Manage and grow partner communities through active engagement and conversation.Analytics & Reporting :
Track key performance metrics (KPIs) for each partner’s social media channels, including engagement rates, reach, impressions, and conversions.Provide detailed monthly reports to partners that highlight performance, insights, and next steps for optimization.Use data to optimize campaigns, suggesting adjustments based on what works best for each partner.Partner Communication & Relationship Management :
Serve as the main point of contact for partners regarding social media strategy, execution, and results.Proactively manage partner expectations, timelines, and deliverables to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Prepare presentations, proposals, and recommendations for partner meetings.Collaboration & Cross-functional Work :
Collaborate with other agency departments to ensure seamless integration of social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.Work closely with the creative team to develop unique and eye-catching assets for campaigns.Stay Updated on Trends & Best Practices :
Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to keep clients’ strategies fresh and effective.Experiment with new tools, features, and platforms (e.g., new Instagram features, TikTok trends) to continually evolve partner’s social media presence.Qualifications : Experience :
3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in an agency environment or working with multiple partners.Proven track record of managing social media accounts for businesses in different industries.Skills & Knowledge :
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).Experience in creating and managing paid social campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate strategy, goals, and results clearly to clients.Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple partners and deadlines simultaneously.Tools & Software :
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer).Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other reporting platforms.Proficiency in graphic design or video editing software is a plus (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).Personal Attributes :
Highly proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and within a team.Creative thinker with a passion for social media trends and digital marketing.Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Preferred Qualifications :
