The Laborer is responsible for assisting craft workers with various physical tasks at industrial construction job sites. This position should be able to work well with others, follow directions when given, be self-motivated, be on task, and follow all safety protocols at all times.
Responsibilities :
Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing and returning them to the appropriate locations on site; install or remove signage, railings, or other various hardware.
Operate hand or power tools as required.
If certified, operate heavy equipment.
Assist in erecting or dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, shoring, braces, or other temporary structures.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Follow all safety regulations and ensure proper PPE is worn.
Requirements :
At least 6 months experience working as a commercial or industrial construction laborer
Experience operating required hand and power tools
Must be able to communicate effectively & professionally with customers and co-workers. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a PLUS!!!
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
Physical Demands and Working Environment :
Environment : Work is performed primarily in an outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions, and travel from site to site.
Physical : Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment; to walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to lift, carry, push, and / or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs without assistance and greater than 50lbs with assistance; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Requisitos :
Al menos 6 meses de experiencia trabajando como obrero de construcción comercial o industrial
Experiencia en el manejo de herramientas manuales y eléctricas requeridas
Debe ser capaz de comunicarse de manera efectiva y profesional con clientes y compañeros de trabajo. ¡Bilingüe en inglés y español es un PLUS!!
