The Correctional Officer will be responsible for enforcing county laws, maintaining the security of the jail, and supervising inmate workers. This role requires a professional with strong law enforcement skills and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce County laws and maintain the security of the jail
- Supervise inmate workers and ensure they perform their duties effectively
- Monitor and inspect all cellblocks to ensure security
- Book in and bond out prisoners as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Requires at least one year of law enforcement experience
- Valid Colorado Driver's License and certification for CPR and first aid required
