About the Position
We are seeking an experienced correctional officer to join our team at Clear Creek County Detention Facility. As a correctional officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of inmates, staff, and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of inmates and staff
- Conduct regular inspections of cellblocks and facilities
- Administer prescribed and non-prescribed medications as needed
- Transport inmates to and from court and other appointments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license and certification for CPR and first aid
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish effective working relationships
