Successful applications must have:
- 4 or more years' experience in estimating or cost control and/or engineering experience in the commercial or industrial electrical construction industry - large scale projects
- Strong computer skills (EXCEL) and exceptional knowledge/experience utilizing complex project management software and construction estimating software including Accubid
- Working knowledge of commercial or industrial building codes and related systems/controls.
Role Summary:
- Preparing cost estimates for all aspects of electrical construction projects from $20M-$100M utilizing construction plans and specifications in accordance with company estimating guidelines and related industry standards.
- Developing detailed cost estimates and proposals.
- Leading the proposal review process and ensuring proper project documentation.
- Collaborating with project teams to establish budgets and buyouts.
- Negotiating with vendors for quality and cost efficiency.
- Serving as the primary client point-of-contact.
- Supporting project teams with estimating, startup, and change orders.
