This position is based out of our Abbotsford office. Remote candidates are not being considered at this time.
Responsibilities and Duties
As the Human resources admin, you must thrive on variety in your day-to-day and yet enjoy the everyday administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. You love to-do lists and value the autonomy to create and maintain an office environment that people love to come work in.
Some of the things the Human Resources Admin is responsible for on a day-to-day basis include:
- Supporting recruitment through the development and maintenance of job postings and screening, testing, and pre-interviewing candidates.
- Provide additional HR administrative support through recruitment, on-boarding, and departure processes.
- Owning HRIS software and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Oversee the day to day function of the office and ensure the smooth running of all facilities by monitoring office supply inventory, maintaining the kitchen and related supplies, and ensuring the office is organized, presentable, and well-stocked;
- Organizing, maintaining, and enforcing office-related operations and procedures.
- Greeting guests enthusiastically and ensuring they are comfortable.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- 75wpm or faster (find your speed here: clearbridge.ca/typingtest).
- Experience with O365, G Suite/Google Workspace.
- You have clear, effective written and verbal communication.
- You have superior attention to detail and strong organizing skills.
- You have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- You have fast and accurate data entry skills.
- You have strong phone etiquette and excellent active listening skills.
- You embrace feedback and have a constant desire to learn and improve.
- You embrace (and thrive) on new technology.
- You demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
