The Patient Account Representative is a member of the ClearChoiceMD/CareWell billing team. This is primarily a customer service role in which the employee will assist the patient in understanding their insurance coverage, processing payments, and educating the consumer on the services received. This hybrid role is located in Concord, NH and reports to the PAR Team Lead and RCM Manager.

A typical day in the life of a Patient Account Representative, includes:
- Manage billing emails, process itemized bill requests, and coordinate with Collections for account write-offs in Experity.
- Handle incoming patient and employer calls, make outbound calls for balance collections, and resolve billing inquiries per company procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient account balances and maintain detailed records of interactions, escalating issues as necessary to Team Lead as needed.
- Set up payment arrangements, process Disability Determination forms, and respond to ROI requests.
- Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills and effective problem solving in a fast paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years’ old
- Are legally eligible to work in the United States
- At least 2 years’ experience in medical billing
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel Spreadsheet, and SharePoint Applications
- Demonstrated good judgement and initiative
A typical work schedule consists of weekdays 8am – 5:00pm in Concord, NH. The starting time can be flexible. This is a hybrid role in which the employee would be required to be in the office a minimum of 2-3 days a week or more as needed.
