Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual...

We have partnered with a regional utility company to implement energy waste reduction programs on their behalf. The program installs energy reduction items. Such as but not limited to lightbulbs, thermostats, faucet aerators, showerheads, and pipe insulation. The chosen candidate will also travel from home to customers homes, using a pre-determined route, and perform basic quality observations on the items installed, including at times observing field technicians and the work performed during their assessments with customers. This position requires observations & sometimes installing items that were missed upon the initial visit. The items installed along with a customer survey will then be entered into a database for monitoring and reporting purposes. The chosen candidate will also make phone calls at times to customers regarding their initial home assessment and the items that were installed.

• Job duties will consist of field & warehousing work.
• Training will be provided – laptop, mobile phone, and vehicle will be issued
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to conduct quality assurance reviews involving on-site verifications of items in the field and electronic review of field data entered into the program databases.
• Provide technical advice & guidance to our customers on the items that were installed in accordance with client specifications.
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products.
• Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
• Travel throughout a defined territory.
• Show experience or interest and ability to learn about HVAC equipment to be an effective educator.
• Operate general hand tools, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to observe and record information accurately using a laptop.
• An acceptable driving record.
• A background in energy waste reduction is preferred but not required.
