What are the responsibilities and job description for the Department Clerk II- Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts position at Clearfield County Government?
Prepares maintains and processes all forms, correspondence, paperwork, licenses and permits as related to the department. Maintains department files.
Answers, screens and forwards telephone calls or takes messages. Responds to inquiries and questions from customers.
Receives, logs and processes payments. Maintains account records.
Opens, processes, and distributes department mail.
Maintains department office supplies and/or educational materials when necessary.
Other specific departmental functions may include, but are not limited to, indexing and scanning documents, data entry, minutes and agendas and totaling receipts and preparing bank deposits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $11.40 per hour
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
