Title: Revenue Accountant
Location: Houston, Texas (Westchase)
Type: Contract, 6 months with possibility of extension or direct hire after this period
Rate: $60-70/hr
Summary:
Our client within the Oil and Gas industry is seeking a Revenue Accountant to be responsible for description. This role would be tasked with Owner Relations Accounting and inquiries. The best candidate will have experience in the Oil and Gas industry. In addition, this role will be charged with working closely with Land Data Management.
Duties:
- Respond to Owner Inquiries – perform analysis, work with Revenue, Land Data Management, Operations, Legal, Marketing, and other Departments when necessary to formulate a response to owners.
- Process returned checks – perform analysis and work with Land Data Management to resolve.
- Assist with projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Professional accounting experience in the oil and gas industry
- Revenue Accounting/Owner Relations experience
- Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, TEAMS, and Outlook.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP, and EnergyLink, preferred
- Knowledge of accounting and oil & gas industry terminology
- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, administrative and organizational skills.
- Able to work well in a team setting with consistent and professional interactions and approachability with team members.
- Experience implementing sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems.
- Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively and persuasively across various settings.

Education:
- Bachelors Degree or greater with relevant study.
