Position Summary
ClearSight LASIK and Lens is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Call Center Agent to be the first point of contact for prospective and current patients. This individual will be responsible for fielding all inbound calls, routing them to the appropriate personnel, scheduling consultation appointments for eye procedures, and gathering essential patient information.
The ideal candidate values customer service excellence above all else, demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and has strong experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce. They will also be responsible for following up with potential patients from various lead sources such as website forms, social media, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle High Volume Inbound Calls with Extreme Joy:
Promptly answer a high volume of daily incoming phone calls with professionalism and compassion, providing information and assistance to both current and prospective patients. - Appointment Scheduling:
Efficiently schedule vision consultation appointments and ensure complete and accurate information is gathered for each patient. - CRM Management & Documentation:
Enter and update patient information and call notes in a CRM system with a high level of accuracy. Candidate must have extremely high proficiency in CRM platforms—Salesforce experience is strongly preferred. All interactions must be clearly documented and tracked. - Outbound Follow-Up:
Make follow-up calls to individuals who submit appointment requests through online forms, social media channels, or via doctor/word-of-mouth referrals. - Communication Skills:
Communicate effectively through phone and written formats, providing clear and empathetic explanations of appointment processes and next steps. - Call Routing:
Direct callers to the appropriate internal personnel and departments, as necessary, maintaining efficient workflow and minimizing wait times. - Candidate Qualifying:
Complete a follow up call after scheduling to serve as a concierge to qualify new prospective surgery candidates by taking them through specified information and asking calibrated questions to prepare and qualify the candidate for their consultation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
- 3-5 years of call center service excellence, ideally in a healthcare or vision services environment
- Exceptional CRM proficiency required; Salesforce strongly preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to document conversations clearly and professionally in a CRM
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A writing and audio sample of prior call experience is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
