We are seeking a Medical Schedular for our Clearwater Location. The telephone scheduler position is primarily responsible for answering the telephone and scheduling patients that are calling for appointments with the doctors and/or testing. Also responsible for verifying the patient demographics and insurance information. Assisting in rescheduling patients due to physician schedule changes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

· Coordinate and schedule clinical staff assignments, ensuring proper coverage for patient visits in compliance with the established care plans.

· Manage patient visit schedules, update and adjust clinician assignments as needed based on availability, location, and patient needs.

· Communicate scheduling changes or updates promptly to clinicians, patients, and family members as required.

· Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize scheduling efficiency while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.

· Ensure that all documentation related to scheduling is accurate and up to date in the scheduling system.

· Address any immediate scheduling conflicts and find solutions to avoid gaps in patient care coverage.

· Provide administrative support to the home health clinical team as needed, including maintaining relevant logs and reports.

· Uphold all compliance and confidentiality standards as outlined by the organization and applicable regulations.

· Ensure compliance with the organization's Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, including HIPAA regulations for the protection of sensitive information.

M-F 8:30-5:00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
