Position Overview
We’re seeking a high-energy, driven Water Treatment Sales Consultant to join our expanding team in Virginia Beach. You’ll play a crucial role in educating homeowners and businesses about our cutting-edge water filtration systems, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals that bring immediate value to clients. Key Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: Conduct on-site or virtual evaluations of water quality, recommend solutions, and close sales for whole-home filtration, water heaters, and related services.
- Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Convert warm leads provided by our marketing team and door-to-door setter network, while also seeking new business opportunities in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Product Expertise: Become an expert on high-end filtration systems, new product lines (e.g., proprietary reverse osmosis systems), and service plans.
- Territory Management: Track daily and weekly appointments, maintain a strong pipeline, and manage client data in our CRM (Jobber).
- Collaboration: Work closely with installation teams, digital marketing staff, and lead setters to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial consultation to final install.
Qualifications
- Sales Experience: 1 year in direct sales, in-home consultations, or B2B sales. Water treatment, HVAC, or home services experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent Communication: Strong listening skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
- High-Energy & Goal-Oriented: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious revenue targets.
- Self-Motivated: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Reliable Transportation: Must be able to travel to appointments throughout the Virginia Beach region.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team (marketing, operations, service).
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Pay Structure (Base Commission or Commission-Only, depending on experience) with significant earning potential. Top performers in similar roles have earned $80K–$120K in their first year; experienced pros can exceed $150K–$200K.
