What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Maintainer position at Clearway Energy?
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wind Technician to join our team at Clearway Energy Group.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain wind turbine mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of SCADA communication systems.
- Lead maintenance and troubleshooting crews as necessary.
- Safely perform LOTO and mentor lower level technicians in LOTO.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED required or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
- Able to climb towers unassisted up to 300 feet.
- Possess demonstrable mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
