Customer Billing Analyst is an entry level professional with a general knowledge of customer billing principles and practices. Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to facilitate researching, analyzing and resolving billing, BPEM (Business Process Exception Management) cases, knowledge of systems (MDMS, HES and SAP) and order closure issues. Has a general knowledge of rates, revenue, standard industrial and franchise classification codes. Interacts with various departments to provide accurate and timely information to internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Champions a corporate culture that emphasizes transparency, integrity, safety, environmental responsibility, employee development, diversity and inclusion, customer service, and operational excellence
- Determines cause of billing and order closure exceptions and suggests alternatives for reducing or addressing causes.
- Proactively suggest changes to enhance the billing processes.
- Participates in cross training to stay abreast of changes or enhancements to system, billing and order closure procedures.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the billing, systems (MDMS, HES and SAP) and order closure processes.
- Works through billing exception reports providing solutions analytically and logically.
- Ensures compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Provide assistance with the overflow of high volume customer calls to the Call Center.
- Provides accurate and timely information to both internal and external customers.
- Provides written communication to the external customers to ensure billing / order problems do not reoccur.
