Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The accounting Clerk is responsible for supporting the accounting department by performing a range of tasks including processing transactions, preparing reports and invoicing. The key focus is to ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Attention to detail and computer literacy are essentials for this role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safety requirements, wearing proper PPE
- Team collaboration and respect of others
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Constantly update job knowledge
- Competency in MS Office
- Processing invoices
- Organizing office mail
- Receiving and recording vouchers and checks
- Maintain Financial Filing System
- Other duties as assigned
