About the Role:
As a Sanitation Manager at Clemens Food Group, you’ll lead our sanitation program, ensuring a clean and food-safe production environment. This role requires a strong leader to manage sanitation processes, oversee compliance with regulatory standards, and train a dedicated team. Your expertise will support food safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement at our Coldwater, MI facility.
Who You Are:
- A leader with experience in sanitation management within a food processing facility.
- A detail-oriented professional knowledgeable about FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and SQF programs.
- A problem-solver who can implement sanitation improvements and support food safety audits.
- A team-builder who can train, coach, and inspire a sanitation team to execute cleaning protocols effectively.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the sanitation program, ensuring compliance with FDA, OSHA, and GFSI standards.
- Train and lead the sanitation team in best practices for cleaning, chemical handling, and food safety.
- Manage sanitation documentation, including SSOPs, cleaning records, and training logs.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production to validate cleaning effectiveness and support audits.
