The Impact You’ll Make
As the Fresh Pork Superintendent, you will oversee cutting, deboning, and packaging operations, ensuring efficient meat yield, quality assurance, and adherence to USDA and HACCP standards. You’ll lead supervisors and frontline teams in meeting production goals while implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, maximize plant efficiency, and ensure worker and food safety.
What You’ll Do
- Drive operational performance – Manage staffing, production scheduling, and daily performance metrics.
- Lead a high-performing team – Train and mentor supervisors, ensuring teams are engaged and meeting production goals.
- Maintain compliance & safety – Enforce USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and worker safety protocols to uphold industry standards.
- Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with FSQA, sales, maintenance, and shipping to ensure seamless operations.

What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Meat Science, Food Science, Animal Science, or related field). Equivalent work experience accepted.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in pork processing, deboning, or meat production leadership.
- Proven leadership experience: Track record of managing supervisors and frontline production teams.
