As a key financial leader reporting to the CFO, you will oversee the period-end close process, financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning . This is a prime opportunity for an extraordinary performer who brings both technical expertise and leadership excellence. What You’ll Be Doing : 1. Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) – Developing a High-Performing Finance Team Lead, mentor, and develop a top-tier finance team to ensure financial stewardship and operational excellence . Ensure the right people are in the right roles , fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to team members. Set clear performance expectations , provide constructive feedback , and drive team success . Align financial goals with business strategy through cross-departmental collaboration. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement aligned with company values . Metric : Success measured by team effectiveness and performance. 2. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting – Ensuring Accuracy & Timeliness Oversee and execute month-end close with precision and compliance . Manage COGS, inventory booking, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations for payroll, credit cards, intercompany accounts, and commissions . Ensure accurate financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations . Generate and distribute daily sales reports for BDMs and leadership. Optimize liquidity through daily, weekly, and monthly cash management . Metric : On-time and accurate financial close, reconciliations, and financial statement integrity. 3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis – Driving Fiscal Discipline Develop and maintain financial plans to ensure long-term stability and smart decision-making . Partner with department leaders to create realistic and data-driven budgets . Maintain rolling forecasts to adapt to market and operational changes. Analyze variances , identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership . Metric : Budget adherence, forecast accuracy, and variance reduction over time . 4. Finance Project Management & Process Optimization – Leading Strategic Initiatives Drive finance-related projects to enhance processes, systems, and efficiency . Implement SOPs and finance process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency . Lead ERP implementation and revenue-related projects to optimize financial performance. Ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle . Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure success and apply lessons learned . Metric : Successful execution of finance projects, enhanced processes, and system improvements . 5. Tax Compliance & Fixed Asset Management – Ensuring Regulatory Adherence Oversee monthly sales tax filings and reconciliations . Ensure timely preparation and filing of annual tax returns with full regulatory compliance. Manage fixed asset accounting including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation . Conduct fixed asset inventory audits and implement best-in-class tracking . Develop and enforce policies for asset and inventory management . Metric : Compliance with tax regulations, accurate asset tracking, and clean audits . What You Bring to the Table : Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
